Question 1

Is the price list maker really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can make and download as many price lists as you want, without an account. The images have a small "Powered by Softalon" line at the bottom, which you can turn off.

Question 2

What should a salon price list include?

Accepted Answer

Group services into a few categories, use the names your clients use, and show the duration so they can plan their visit. When a price depends on hair length or design, show it as a starting price so nobody is surprised at checkout.

Question 3

Where should I post my price list?

Accepted Answer

Pin the story format to your Instagram highlights and post the square format to your feed. It answers "How much is it?" before clients have to ask, and the booking link on the image lets them book right away.

Question 4

What size are the images?

Accepted Answer

Story images are 1080 × 1920 pixels, the size Instagram and Facebook stories use. Post images are 1080 × 1080 pixels, which works for the feed, WhatsApp, and Google Business Profile.

Question 5

What happens when I have a lot of services?

Accepted Answer

The list gets smaller to fit as many services as it can while staying readable. When there are still too many, the image shows how many more there are. Split your categories into two images or use the story format, which fits more.

Question 6

Are my services saved?

Accepted Answer

Your services and salon details are saved in your browser, so they are still there when you come back. Nothing is stored on our servers.

Question 7

Can I show a starting price?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Turn on "Starting Price" for a service and the image shows "from $85" instead of a fixed price, which is useful for color, extensions, or nail art.
