Question 1

Do the QR codes expire?

Accepted Answer

No. The code holds your link directly, so it works for as long as the link works. There is no redirect in between.

Question 2

Where should I put QR codes in my salon?

Accepted Answer

Use one code per goal. A booking code at checkout brings clients back, a review code at the station collects reviews while the visit is still fresh, and an Instagram code in the window turns people walking by into followers.

Question 3

How do I get my Google review link?

Accepted Answer

Open your Google Business Profile on Google Search or Maps, choose "Ask for reviews" or "Get more reviews", and copy the link it shows. Paste it here with the purpose set to Google Reviews.

Question 4

Which format should I use for printing?

Accepted Answer

Use SVG for print shops and large sizes because it stays sharp at any size. PNG works well for documents, menus, and social media.

Question 5

Can I change the color of the QR code?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for the code-only download. Keep the color dark on a light background so every phone can scan it.

Question 6

Is it free to use commercially?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use the codes and posters anywhere, for as long as you like.

Question 7

Should I test the code before printing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Scan it with your own phone once before you print or put it up, especially when you changed the color of the code.
