The Dashboard is the first page you see in the Softalon Partners app once your partner account is active. It sums up your balance, sales, tier and referrals.

Date range and refresh

The date picker at the top right sets the period for the dashboard. It starts on the first day of the current month and ends today. Dates use your browser's timezone. The refresh button next to it reloads every card.

Most cards use only the selected range. Two don't: Available Balance and Current Tier always show your account as it is now.

Terms used on this page

  • Lead: someone who created a Softalon account through your referral link. When that person creates a salon, the salon becomes a lead too.
  • Sale: a subscription payment made by a salon you referred. Only successful payments count toward sales and commission.
  • Commission: your share of a sale, set by your tier.

See Share your referral link for how referrals are recorded.

Top cards

CardWhat it showsHow it's calculated
Available BalanceMoney you can request as a payout. The line below shows the total of your pending payouts. All commission you have earned on successful payments, minus every payout you have requested, pending or completed. It is not limited to the date range.
Gross SalesTotal sales from your referred salons in the range. The line below shows how much of it is your commission (inc. … in commissions).Sum of successful subscription payments in the range, in US dollars.
Current TierYour tier name, your commission rate and how long you earn on each salon, such as 20% for 12 months.Comes from the tier the Softalon team assigned you. unlimited means there's no time limit.
Conversion RateShare of your salon leads that turned into paying salons. The line below shows conversions from … leads.Salons with at least one successful payment in the range, divided by salon leads created in the range.

The two parts of Conversion Rate are counted separately. A salon that became a lead last month and paid this month counts as a conversion this month but not as a lead. That's why the rate can go above 100% for short ranges.

Charts

Each chart groups its data by day, week, month or year, depending on how long the selected range is.

ChartWhat it shows
LeadsNew leads over time, split into Account (people who signed up) and Salon (salons those people created).
ConversionsSalons with a successful payment in each period. Each salon counts once per period.
SalesSuccessful sales over time, split into Commission (your share) and Net (the sale amount minus your commission).
Campaign ShareEach campaign's percentage of your net sales (sale amount minus commission) in the range. Sales from leads without a campaign are left out. Anything not covered shows as N/A.

Where amounts come from

  • Sale amounts are subscription payments only: new subscriptions, plan changes and renewals. Other purchases don't create sales.
  • Amounts are shown in US dollars. Payments in other currencies are converted.
  • If a payment is refunded or fails, its sale stops counting toward sales and commission, and your balance goes down by that commission.

Common questions

The balance is your current account state. It always includes every commission you've earned and every payout you've requested.
