You can book an appointment on the salon's website in a few minutes. You don't need an account or a password. The booking page walks you through one choice at a time and shows a summary of your booking as you go.
Every salon sets up its booking page a little differently. Some skip steps, change their order, or ask extra questions. The steps below are the most common setup.
Before you start
- The salon's website address. You'll find it in the salon's messages, on social media or on their own website.
- An email address or phone number the salon can reach you at.
- 1
Step 1 of 7
Start your booking
Open the salon's website and select Book Now in the header, or Book Now on a service or team member's page. If you start from a service or team member's page, that choice is already filled in for you.
You will see:The booking page opens on the first step, with the salon's logo at the top.
- 2
Step 2 of 7
Choose a location
On Choose Location, select where you'd like to go. If the salon has only one location, this step is skipped.
- 3
Step 3 of 7
Choose a service
On Choose Service, find the service you want. Use the category buttons or the search box, if the salon shows them, to narrow the list. Then select the service. Prices marked as a starting price can change depending on the team member or location you pick.
If your salon allows it, you can pick more than one service for the same visit. See Book several services in one visit.
- 4
Step 4 of 7
Choose a team member
On Choose Member, pick the person you'd like to see, or select Anyone if you have no preference. See Choose a team member or Anyone.
- 5
Step 5 of 7
Choose a date and time
On Choose Time, pick a day from the row of dates, or select the calendar icon to jump to a date. Days with no free times are grayed out. Then select a time. Times are grouped into Morning, Afternoon and Evening.
Times are shown in the salon's time zone unless the salon shows a time zone picker above the dates. In that case they start in your device's time zone, and you can change it.
You will see:The time you picked is highlighted, and the booking moves to the next step.
- 6
Step 6 of 7
Add your details
On Client Details, enter your First Name, Last Name, and your Email Address or Phone Number. The salon decides which contact fields you see and which are required. If both are shown and neither is marked required, fill in at least one.
You can also:
- tick the boxes to agree to transactional texts or marketing messages from the salon
- add Notes with any special requests
- answer any extra questions the salon asks
If you're signed in, or you've booked before on the same device, your details are filled in for you.
- 7
Step 7 of 7
Review and confirm
On Checkout, check the summary and choose how to pay, if the salon asks. Then select Book Appointment, or Pay Now if you chose to pay online. See Pay online, pay at the salon or pay a deposit.
If your booking is free, there's no checkout step. Select Book Appointment on the details step.
You will see:A status page that shows your appointment, for example Appointment Confirmed! or Awaiting Confirmation, with an Add to Calendar option.
The status page tells you what happens next. Some salons confirm every booking right away. Others review requests first. See What your booking status means.
How far ahead you can book
The salon sets how soon and how far ahead you can book. By default, a booking must start at least an hour from now, but each salon can change this. The booking page shows dates up to 30 days ahead, and fewer if the salon allows less.
If something is off
The time I picked is no longer available
Someone else may have booked it while you were filling in your details. Go back to Choose Time and pick another time.
I see No payment methods available
The salon hasn't set up a payment option that works for this booking. Contact the salon directly to book.
I can't find any free times
