The last step of a booking, Checkout, is where you choose how to pay. Which options you see depends on the salon. Some salons only take payment at the salon, some only online, and some ask for a deposit to hold your time.
Your options
The salon names its own payment methods, so the pay-at-the-salon option might be called something like Cash or Pay on-site.

Review the summary
At the top of Checkout, Paying Now shows how much you'll pay today. If you pay a deposit, Paying Later shows what's left to pay at the salon.
On a phone, tap the summary to see the full Booking Details, including each service, the subtotal, any discount, tax and the total.

Choose a payment method
Under Payment Method, select one of the options. The salon's default is already selected.
- For a pay-at-the-salon option, you'll see: You will pay at the salon at the time of your appointment.
- For an online option, you'll see: You will be redirected to complete the payment.

Choose a payment type
If you chose an online method and the booking has a deposit, Payment Type appears. Choose Pay Deposit Only or Pay Full Amount. Without a deposit, an online method always charges the full amount, so this choice doesn't appear.

Confirm the booking
Select Book Appointment if you're paying at the salon, or Pay Now if you're paying online.
You will see:If you're paying at the salon, your appointment's status page. If you're paying online, a secure payment page where you enter your card details.

Finish the payment
Complete the payment on the payment page. When it goes through, you're taken back to the salon's site, and your appointment's status page opens.
You will see:Your appointment with the status Confirmed, or Awaiting Confirmation if the salon reviews bookings first.
Deposits
A salon can ask for a deposit for some services or locations. The deposit is either a percentage of the price or a fixed amount, and it's worked out from the total after any discount, tax included. It's never more than the total.
When a deposit is required, you pay at least the deposit online. You can't choose to pay everything at the salon. You can still choose Pay Full Amount instead.
Free services never need a deposit.
When you pay online, your booking waits with the status Awaiting Payment until the payment goes through. Your time is held for 15 minutes. Finish paying right away so no one else can book the same time.
Free bookings
If the total is zero, for example a free consultation, there's no checkout step. Select Book Appointment on the details step to finish.
If something is off
I see No payment methods available
The salon hasn't set up a way to pay that works for this booking. For example, the service needs a deposit, but the salon doesn't take online payments. Contact the salon directly to book.
I can't choose to pay at the salon
The service needs a deposit, or the salon only takes online payments. Choose Pay Deposit Only to pay as little as possible now.
My payment didn't go through
