Cancel an appointment

Cancel an appointment from your account or from a link in the salon's message, and learn why canceling is sometimes not possible.

If you can't make it, you can cancel your appointment online, as long as the salon allows it. You can cancel from your account on the salon's website, or from a link in an email or text the salon sent you.

If you'd rather keep the appointment at a different time, reschedule it instead.

Before you cancel

The salon decides whether online canceling is allowed and how close to the appointment you can still cancel. For example, a salon might allow canceling only up to 24 hours before the start time. These limits apply both in your account and through links.

You can cancel an appointment that is Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation or Awaiting Payment. Appointments that are already completed, canceled, declined or marked as no-show can't be canceled.

Cancel from your account

    Step 1 of 3

    Find the appointment

If something is off

I get an error saying canceling is not allowed

The salon doesn't allow online canceling, or you're past the salon's cutoff. The message shows how many minutes before the start time the cutoff is. Contact the salon directly to cancel.

The link says the appointment is already canceled

The appointment was already canceled, by you or by the salon. There's nothing more to do.

The Manage Appointment link says the appointment can no longer be changed

The appointment is completed, declined or marked as no-show. Contact the salon if something is wrong.

Common questions

Canceling doesn't refund a payment by itself. Refunds are up to the salon, so contact them about any payment you made.
