Update your profile

Your profile holds the details the salon has on file for you. Keeping them current means reminders reach you and your details are filled in when you book.

If your salon allows it, you can update your profile yourself. If not, the salon updates it for you.

Update your details

   Open your account

   Select your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner of the header, then select Account. Choose General if it isn't already open.

   You will see:

   The General page with cards for Avatar, Full Name, Email Address, Phone Number and Date of Birth.

   Change your photo

   In Avatar, select the image and choose a new picture. You'll see a preview. Select the save button at the bottom of the card to keep it. To go back to your initials, select Remove Avatar.

   You will see:

   A message saying Avatar Updated.

   Change your name or date of birth

   Edit First Name and Last Name, or pick a new Date of Birth. Then select the save button at the bottom of that card.

   You will see:

   A message such as Name Updated.

   Change your email or phone number

   Enter the new Email Address or Phone Number, then select the save button. A dialog asks Are you sure you want to continue? Check the new value and select Confirm.

   You will see:

   A message saying Email Updated or Phone Number Updated.

When editing is locked

If the salon doesn't allow profile changes, you'll see a notice at the top of the page: Need to change something in your profile? The fields are grayed out, and you can't save changes. Contact the salon and ask them to update your details.

Theme and animations

These settings change how the salon's website looks on this browser. Select your profile picture or initials, then Account, then Preferences.

Pick an option, then select the save button on that card.

Some salons use a fixed light or dark look for their site. In that case, the theme option isn't shown in the profile menu, and the site keeps the salon's look.
