When you book, you can choose who does your service, or leave it to the salon. The step is called Choose Member. You only see people who offer the service you picked at the location you chose.

  1. 1

    Step 1 of 3

Get to the Choose Member step

Start a booking with Book Now and pick your location and service. Some salons ask you to pick a time before a team member. In that case, you only see people who are free at that time.

  2. 2

    Step 2 of 3

    Compare the options

Each card shows the team member's name and, if the salon shows them, a photo and rating. If someone charges a different price or takes a different amount of time for this service, the card shows the difference, for example +$10.

The Anyone card is always first. It shows No Preference. If prices differ between team members, it shows the price range.

  3. 3

    Step 3 of 3

    Make your choice

Select a team member's card, or select Anyone. Your choice is marked Selected, and the booking moves on.

    You will see:

The next step opens, and your choice appears in the booking summary.

What happens when you choose Anyone

With Anyone, the times you see include every team member who can do the service. When you reach Checkout, the salon assigns someone who is free at the time you picked. The summary then shows that person's name, and the price shown is their price for the service.

Each salon chooses how it assigns people. For example, it might share bookings evenly across the team or pick whoever is free first. You can't choose the rule, but you can always go back and pick a specific person instead.

If you go back from Checkout to an earlier step, the assignment is cleared. The salon assigns someone again when you return to Checkout.

When the choice is made for you

You may not need to choose when:

  • the salon has only one team member you can book. That person is already selected.
  • the salon has turned the step off. The salon then assigns someone for you, the same way as Anyone.

Booking several services

If you book more than one service, you choose a team member for each service separately. Select a service in the list at the top of the step, then pick a person for it. See Book several services in one visit.

Common questions

They may not offer this service at the location you chose, or they may not be free at the time you picked. Try another location, service or time, or contact the salon.
