Account preferences explained

Account preferences change how Softalon looks and behaves for you. They don't change anything for your team or your clients. Go to Account › Preferences.

Default Salon

Choose a salon in the Default Salon card and click Save. After you sign in, Softalon opens that salon right away.

With No Default, Softalon opens your overview if you have pending invitations, or the page to create a salon if you don't. See Switch salons and set a default salon.

Language

Choose a language in the Language card and click Save. Softalon saves it to your account, so it follows you to other devices.

The card notes that translations are experimental and may not cover every area of the app.

The language here is for you only. It doesn't change anything your team or clients see.

Theme

Choose Light, Dark or System and click Save. System follows your device's light or dark setting. The theme is saved in your current browser. You can also change it from the account menu.

Animations

Choose Reduced if motion bothers you or the app feels slow on your device, then click Save. This setting is saved in your current browser only, so set it on each device where you want it.
