Why don't I see a draft invoice?

Drafts are never shown. Invoices appear in the list once they're issued.

Pay and download your Softalon invoices

The Invoices card in Plan & Billing lists what Softalon has billed your salon: subscription charges, plan changes and credit packages. These are your bills from Softalon, not the invoices you send to your clients. For client invoices, see Invoices explained.

Before you start

You're the salon owner. Only the owner can open Plan & Billing.

Find an invoice

Go to Settings › Plan & Billing and scroll to the Invoices card. Each row shows:

Column	What it shows
Invoice	The invoice number. Click the copy button next to it to copy the number.
Status	Open (waiting for payment), Paid or Void (canceled, nothing to pay).
Amount	The amount due on the invoice.
Date	The date the invoice was issued.

To find a specific invoice, type its number in Search invoices....

Download an invoice or receipt

Click the menu button at the end of the row.
Click View to open the invoice PDF, or View Receipt to open the receipt PDF.

View Receipt is only available for paid invoices. The PDFs open in a new tab, where you can download or print them.

Softalon also emails your billing email address when an invoice is paid.

Pay an open invoice

Most invoices are paid automatically with your saved payment method. You only need to pay by hand when an automatic charge failed, or when you closed the payment panel before finishing a purchase.

Open the invoice
In the Invoices card, click the menu button on an invoice with the Open status and click Pay.

Check the total and choose how to pay
The Pay Invoice panel shows Subtotal, any Discount, Total, Applied Balance and Total Due Today.
Choose a saved payment method or add a new card.

Pay
Click Pay Now. If your bank asks you to verify the payment, follow the prompt.
You will see:
A toast that says Invoice Paid, and the invoice status changes to Paid.

If the invoice was for a subscription renewal, paying it makes your subscription Active again.

What appears on your invoices

The Bill To section of the invoice PDF uses the name, address and tax ID from the Billing Profile card. The PDF is created when the invoice is issued, so changes to your billing details show on later invoices, not on ones already issued. See Update your billing details and tax ID.

If something is off

Invoice preview is not available

The PDF couldn't be created for this invoice. Contact Softalon support with the invoice number.

There's no Pay option on an invoice

Only Open invoices can be paid. Paid invoices need nothing more, and Void invoices were canceled.

An open invoice turned Void

Softalon voids an open renewal invoice when the last automatic payment attempt fails, and voids unpaid plan-change invoices after they expire. To continue, reactivate your subscription or start the plan change again.

Common questions

Softalon emails the billing email address on your Billing Profile when an invoice is paid. Set it to an address your accountant can read.
