If you already use Stripe, PayPal or Square, you can connect that account and offer it to clients next to, or instead of, Softalon Payments. Money from these payments goes to your Stripe, PayPal or Square account, not to your Softalon Payments balance.
Before you start
- You need the Super Administrator or Owner role to manage integrations.
- Have your Stripe, PayPal or Square login ready.
- For PayPal, you need the Client ID and Client Secret of an app in your PayPal developer account.

Step 3 of 4
Check how it looks to clients
Go to Settings › Payments. The provider now appears in Accepted Payment Methods with its switch on, so clients can already choose it.
Click the gear icon to set:
- Display Name: the name clients see on the booking page, such as Credit/Debit Card.
- Display Description: a short line under the name.
- Show on Booking Page: whether clients can choose this provider.
Click Save in the dialog.

Step 4 of 4
Set the order and default
Drag the providers into the order you want, pick a Default Payment Method if you like, and click Save. See Choose which payment methods clients see.
A newly connected provider can show first at checkout until you save an order. Drag it into place and click Save on the Accepted Payment Methods card.
Disconnect a provider
Go to Settings › Integrations, open the provider and click Disconnect. It disappears from your payment methods. Past payments stay in Finances › Payments.
If something is off
Connecting fails with an error dialog
The provider rejected the connection. For Stripe and Square, try again and finish the sign-in on their site. For PayPal, check that you copied the full Client ID and Client Secret from the same app.
I see One or more connections are unhealthy
Softalon can't reach the provider with the saved connection. Disconnect it and connect it again.
Clients don't see the provider
Open the gear dialog on Settings › Payments and make sure Show on Booking Page is on.
