Your Softalon account is personal. It belongs to you, not to a salon. You use the same account to create your own salon, to join salons that invite you, and to manage your profile and security.
Before you start
- An email address you can open right now. You'll need it to confirm your account.
- A mobile phone number.
- If a salon invited you, open the link in the invitation email instead. It fills in your email for you.

Open the sign-up page
Go to the Softalon sign-up page. If you're on the sign-in page, click Sign Up next to Don't have an account?
A short security check runs in the background while the page loads. You'll see Performing security verification... and then Security verification completed. The buttons stay disabled until the check finishes.

Choose how to sign up
You have two options:
- Continue with Google or Continue with Facebook. Click the arrow below them to show Continue with Microsoft. See Sign in with Google, Facebook or Microsoft.
- Type your email address and click Continue with Email. The buttons under the field (such as
@gmail.com) fill in a common email domain for you.

Fill in your details
On the Almost there! screen, enter:
- First Name and Last Name. Use the name on your government ID.
- Email. Check it carefully. Softalon sends a confirmation code to this address.
- Phone. Choose your country and enter your number.
- Password. It must be at least 8 characters long.
As you type a password, a bar shows its strength. It fills up as you add lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers, symbols and length. The bar is a guide only; the 8-character minimum is the rule.
Click Sign Up.

Verify your email
Softalon sends a 6-digit code to your email and opens the verification screen. Enter the code and click Complete Verification. For details, see Verify your email address.
You will see:A toast that says Email Verified, and then the Softalon app opens.
What happens next
If you don't have any salon invitations, Softalon takes you to the page where you create your first salon. See Create your salon and choose a plan. If a salon invited you, you can accept the invitation from your overview page instead. See Accept a salon invitation.
If something is off
This password has been found in known data breaches
Softalon checks new passwords against lists of leaked passwords. Choose a different password that you haven't used anywhere else.
This email address can't be used
Softalon rejects disposable email addresses and addresses whose domain can't receive mail. Use a permanent address that you check.
This phone number is not valid
Check the country you picked and the digits you entered. Softalon only accepts numbers in a valid phone number format.

The background security check didn't finish. Wait a few seconds and try again. If it keeps failing, see I can't sign in.
Your interaction expired, please fill out the form again.
The sign-up form expires after 10 minutes. Start again and finish the form in one go.
Common questions
No. One account can own salons and be a team member in other salons. You switch between them inside the app.
