Softalon has three plans: Starter, Accelerate and Ultimate. Each plan includes everything in the plan below it. Softalon charges 0% commission on your bookings on every plan. Payment processing fees for your clients' payments are separate and are not a commission.
Only the salon owner can open Settings › Plan & Billing and change the plan.
Prices
Prices are in US dollars. When you choose a plan, the plan picker also offers other currencies and picks one based on your location. You can switch it with the currency selector next to the Monthly and Yearly tabs.
Yearly billing costs the same as 10 months, which is why the Yearly tab shows 2 MONTHS FREE. The plan cards show yearly prices as a monthly amount with "billed annually".
Limits
A few things to know about the limits:
- Team members counts active members, and the owner counts as one of them.
- Locations and workflows count only active ones. Inactive locations and workflows don't use up the limit.
- Credits pay for SMS, WhatsApp messages, AI assistant replies and phone numbers. On a yearly plan you get 12 months of credits at the start of each year. Unused plan credits don't roll over. See Credits explained.
- Activity log history is how far back the Activities page and activity tabs go.
Features that depend on your plan
The table lists every feature that has a plan gate. Everything else, such as the calendar, online booking website, payments, invoices, clients, reviews and standard workflows, is on all plans.
When you open a feature your plan doesn't include, Softalon shows an Upgrade Required message that names the lowest plan with that feature. See A feature says Upgrade required.
What happens when you move to a smaller plan
Softalon switches off what the new plan doesn't include as soon as the change goes through:
- Team members above the limit become inactive. The newest members are deactivated first, and the owner always stays active.
- Locations and workflows above the limit become inactive, newest first.
- Workflows that use a step the new plan doesn't include are turned off.
- If you lose the custom domain feature, your Softalon subdomain becomes your primary domain again.
- If you lose the AI assistant, the assistant and live chat are turned off.
- Settings such as Remove Softalon branding, suggested slots and multi-service booking are switched off.
- Webhook endpoints are turned off if the new plan doesn't include webhooks.
Your data isn't deleted. If you upgrade again later, you turn things back on yourself.
