Templates are workflows prepared by Softalon, with the trigger, steps and message text already filled in. Starting from one is the quickest way to set up common messages like confirmations, reminders and review requests.
Before you start
- You need the Super Administrator or Owner role.
- Your salon needs an active subscription.
- You need room under your plan's limit of active workflows. See How workflows work.

Step 1 of 4

Step 2 of 4

Step 3 of 4

Step 4 of 4
Review and adjust the steps
Click each step to check it. You might want to change the message text, remove a channel you don't use, or add a step. See The Send Notification step explained.
Click Save at the top when you're done. Changes on the canvas aren't saved until you do.
Things to know
- You can create only one workflow from each template. To get a second copy, build a workflow from scratch and copy the steps you need.
- Workflow names must be unique in your salon. If you already have a workflow with the template's name, rename it first.
- Some templates use steps that your plan doesn't include. Creating one of those fails until you upgrade.
- If you don't want the workflow to run yet, turn off its switch on the Workflows page.
If something is off
A workflow was already created from this template
Your salon already has a workflow from this template. Find it on the Workflows page, or delete it first if you want to start over.
This name is already in use
Another workflow has the same name. Rename that workflow with the pen icon next to its name in the editor, then try again.
The Create Workflow button asks you to upgrade
You've reached your plan's limit of active workflows. Turn off a workflow you don't need, or change your plan.

They go out in the template's language. Pick the template in the language you want, or edit the text after you create it.
