Reassigning keeps the time, service and location and only changes who does the appointment. It's handy when someone calls in sick.
Members with the User role can reassign their own appointments to a colleague. Administrators and above can reassign anyone's.
- 1
Step 1 of 3
Open the Reassign form
On the Appointments page, open the appointment's menu and choose Reassign. On the calendar, right-click the appointment and choose Reassign, or click it and then click Reassign.
You will see:The Reassign Appointment form opens with two tabs: Automatic and Manual.
- 2
Step 2 of 3
Choose how to pick the member
- Manual: pick the Member yourself. Only members who offer the service at that location and are free at that time are listed.
- Automatic: choose a selection logic and let Softalon pick from the members who are free. Round Robin is selected when the form opens.

Step 3 of 3
Save
Click Reassign Appointment.
You will see:Appointment Reassigned appears and the appointment shows under the new member.
Automatic selection logic
The current member is one of the candidates, so the automatic pick can keep the appointment where it is. Use Manual if you need a specific person.
For more on these rules, see Choose how Anyone bookings are assigned.
What changes with the move
- The invoice. If it isn't finalized or paid, its price updates to the new member's price for the service.
- The status. With full appointment access (Administrator and above), it stays the same. When a member with the User role hands an appointment to a colleague, the status can reset to your default status, depending on Status After Reschedule in Settings βΊ Booking.
If something is off
No members are available for this time
Nobody else who offers this service at this location is free at that time. Try rescheduling to a different time, or, if you're an administrator, turn on Manual Override in the form.
The member I want isn't in the list
They don't offer this service at this location, or they're busy, off or outside their working hours then. Check their services and working hours.
Common questions
No. The start time stays the same. To change the time too, use Reschedule.
