Settings › Payments controls how your salon gets paid: which payment methods clients see, whether they pay a deposit, when invoices are due, and how prices look. Only members with the Super Administrator or Owner role can open this page.
The page has seven cards, from top to bottom.
Softalon Payments
Shows your Available Balance from online payments taken with Softalon Payments. If some money isn't available yet, the pending amount appears next to it, for example $420.00 (+$85.00 pending).
- Before payouts are set up, the card shows Activate Payouts.
- After payouts are active, it shows Payouts (your withdrawal history and automatic payouts) and Withdraw.
See Get paid online with Softalon Payments and Withdraw your balance.
Payments Integration
A shortcut to Settings › Integrations, where you can connect Stripe, PayPal or Square. See Connect Stripe, PayPal or Square.
Accepted Payment Methods
Switches save right away, and each gear dialog has its own Save button. Changes to the order and the default need Save on the card. A new salon starts with the offline method on and Softalon Payments off. See Choose which payment methods clients see.
Deposit Policy
The salon-wide deposit. It applies to every service unless a location or service has its own deposit policy.
The deposit is calculated from the invoice total, after any coupon and with tax. Free services never ask for a deposit. Deposits need an online payment method, because a client can't pay a deposit on-site. See Require a deposit and How clients pay when they book.
Invoice Due Date
Due After sets how many days a client has to pay an invoice that you finalize without a due date. You can enter 0 to 365 days. The invoice is due at the end of that day in your salon's time zone, so 0 means the end of the same day. New salons start at 1 day.
If you set a Due Date on the invoice itself, that date wins. See Invoices explained.
Currency
The currency used for services, products and invoices. New salons get a currency based on their country.
Changing the currency doesn't convert your prices. A $50 service becomes 50 of the new currency. Invoices that already exist keep the currency they were created with.
Format
How amounts are displayed, including on invoice PDFs.
Click Save on each card to apply its changes.
Common questions
The page needs the Super Administrator or Owner role. Ask an owner to change your role if you manage payments.
