The Operations & Booking Efficiency report shows how busy you were, how often appointments fell through and how clients booked. Open it from Reports in the sidebar.
How the report reads your data
- Date range. Pick a range in the top right. The default is the current month up to today. Days follow your salon's timezone.
- Appointment date. Appointments are placed in the range by their start time, not by the day they were booked.
- Booked appointments. A "booked" appointment has the status Confirmed, Completed or No Show. This is the same definition the dashboard uses.
- Comparison. Each summary card compares the range with the same number of days right before it. Rates show the change in percentage points (pts).
- Who sees what. Members with the User role see only their own appointments and occupancy. Administrators, Super Administrators and Owners see the whole salon.
Summary cards
Appointments
Cancellations
Both rates use the same base: scheduled appointments, meaning booked appointments plus canceled ones. Declined requests and appointments still awaiting confirmation or payment are not in the base.
A lower rate is shown as an improvement.
Occupancy
Salon opening hours don't change occupancy. Only each member's own working hours create available time. See How available times are calculated.
Booking patterns
Charts
The two charts split the range into bars: by day up to 31 days, by week up to 90 days, by month up to 730 days, then by year. A bar that covers only part of a week, month or year is faded.
Breakdowns
Common questions
Declined requests were never scheduled, so they are left out of both the count and the base. Only canceled appointments count as cancellations.
