Leave a salon

Stop being a member of a salon you were invited to. Your account is unlinked and you lose access, while the salon keeps your profile.

If you no longer work at a salon, you can leave it yourself. Any member except the Owner can leave.

Before you start

  1. 1

    Step 1 of 2

    Go to Overview

Click the Softalon logo in the sidebar to open Overview.

  2. 2

    Step 2 of 2

    Leave the salon

Find the salon card, open its β‹― menu and click Leave.

You leave right away. There's no confirmation step.

    You will see:

A message says You have successfully left the salon. The salon disappears from your list and from the salon switcher.

What happens when you leave

  • Your Softalon account is unlinked from your profile at the salon, and the profile is turned off. You can't open the salon anymore.
  • Any pending invitation for your profile is removed.
  • The salon keeps your profile, so your past appointments and invoices stay in its records.
  • Your Softalon account and your other salons aren't affected.

Joining again

To come back, ask an Administrator at the salon to turn your profile's Status back on and send you a new invitation. Then accept it. See Accept a salon invitation.

Common questions

You're the Owner of that salon. Transfer ownership first, then you can leave.
