Update your billing details and tax ID

Your billing profile holds the details Softalon puts on your salon's invoices and receipts, and the email address that receives billing emails. These are the details for your bills from Softalon. The business details your clients see are in Company settings.

   Open the Billing Profile card

   Go to Settings › Plan & Billing and scroll to the Billing Profile card at the bottom.

   Update the billing email

   Enter the address in Email Address. Invoices and billing notifications go to this address.

   Update the name and address

   Use the address form to enter the full name or company name, country, and address. For example: Hair Haven LLC, 512 Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78701, United States.

   Add a tax ID, if you have one

   Turn on the Tax ID switch and enter your tax identification number. It's shown on your invoices. To remove it, turn the switch off.

   Save

   Click Save.

   You will see:

   A toast that says Billing Profile Updated.

Which emails go to the billing address

Softalon sends these emails to the Email Address on your billing profile:

• Your free trial has started, and a reminder 3 days before it ends.
• An invoice was paid.
• Your bank needs you to confirm a payment, with a link to do it.
• A renewal payment failed and the subscription is past due.
• The subscription was canceled, became unpaid, or is incomplete after a trial.

Use an address someone checks often, so you don't miss a failed payment.

When changes take effect

Each invoice PDF is created when the invoice is issued. Your new details show on invoices issued after you save. Invoices that were already issued keep the details they had.
