The Accepted Payment Methods card decides which payment options clients see when they book or pay an invoice, what they're called and in which order they appear.
The list can contain:
- Softalon Payments, shown to clients as Online Payment unless you rename it. It's off for new salons.
- Stripe, PayPal or Square, once connected.
- The offline method, shown as On-site Payment unless you rename it. Clients choose it to pay at the salon.
Before you start
- You need the Super Administrator or Owner role.
- To offer Stripe, PayPal or Square, connect it first.

Step 2 of 6
Turn methods on or off
Use the switch next to each method. The change saves right away.
A method that's off is hidden from your booking site. Softalon Payments, Stripe, PayPal and Square that are off can't be used for new payments in the dashboard either. The offline method is different: you can always record an offline payment in the dashboard, even when clients can't choose it.

- Show on Booking Page: the same on and off setting as the switch.
Click Save in the dialog.

Step 6 of 6
Save
Click Save at the bottom of the card. The order and the default are saved only when you click it.
You will see:A confirmation message.
If you turn off the method that is your default, the default is cleared. Clients then get the first method in your list preselected.
How deposits change what clients see
When a booking requires a deposit, clients can't choose the offline method, because a deposit has to be paid online. If no online method is on, clients see No payment methods available. and can't book that service online. See How clients pay when they book.
If something is off
A method I turned off still shows in the Create Payment dialog
Connected Stripe, PayPal and Square accounts are listed in Create Payment even when they're off, but a payment with them fails with The requested payment method is not supported. Turn the method back on, or choose another method.
My new order didn't stick
Dragging only changes the card. Click Save to keep the new order.
