When you reply to a client yourself, the assistant can write a first draft for you. It reads the recent messages and uses the same salon data it uses for its own replies. You review the draft, change what you want and send it.
Before you start
- You're an Administrator, Super Administrator or the Owner.
- Enable Assistant is on in Settings βΊ Conversations. It doesn't need to be enabled in the conversation itself.
- You have enough credits. Each suggestion uses credits, like an assistant reply.
- 1
Step 1 of 5
Open the conversation
Go to Conversations in the sidebar and select the conversation you want to answer.
- 2
Step 2 of 5
Click the sparkle button
Leave the message box empty and click the sparkle button next to it. The Get Assistant Suggestion window opens.
- 3
Step 3 of 5
Add instructions (optional)
In Instructions, tell the assistant what the reply should do, for example give them a 10% discount or apologize for the wait. The assistant puts your instructions ahead of its usual logic.
- 4
Step 4 of 5
Click Suggest
Click Suggest and wait a moment.
You will see:A Reply Suggested message appears and the draft fills the message box.
- 5
Step 5 of 5
Edit and send
Read the draft, change anything you like and press Enter to send it. Nothing is sent until you do.
A suggestion is only text. Sending it doesn't book, reschedule or cancel anything. If the draft says an appointment is booked, book it in the calendar yourself first.
If something is off
The sparkle button is missing
It only shows while the message box is empty. Clear the box to see it again. If the message box itself is hidden, see I can't reply to a conversation.
Nothing appears after I click Suggest
Sometimes the assistant has nothing to add, for example when the latest message is an automatic reply from the client, or a greeting while Reply to Greetings is off. Add an instruction and try again, or write the reply yourself.
I get an error about credits or the assistant
Suggestions need Enable Assistant turned on, an active subscription and enough credits. Check Settings βΊ Conversations and your credit balance.
Common questions
Yes. It uses credits at your Message Quality rate, just like an assistant reply.
