Google reviews help new clients find you on Google Search and Maps. The Google Reviews integration sends clients from your review links straight to the Google review form of the location they visited.
How it works
- You match each Softalon location to its Google Business Profile.
- Review links you send, by hand or from an automation, open the Google review form for the appointment's location.
- Locations you don't match keep using the Softalon review form.
- The Leave Review button in the client's account on your booking site always uses the Softalon form.
Reviews left on Google stay on Google. They don't appear in Softalon unless you have Google review sync (see below).
Before you start
- You need the Super Administrator or Owner role to manage integrations.
- Each location you want to connect needs a Google Business Profile that shows up in Google search.

Open Integrations
Go to Settings › Integrations and find Google Reviews.

Start connecting
Click Connect. The Connect Google Reviews Integration dialog lists your locations.

Pick your business for each location
For each location, search for your business by name in Search for your business on Google and pick it from the results. You must pick a business for at least one location. Leave a location empty to keep the Softalon form there.

Connect
Click Connect.
You will see:An Integration Connected message. Review links for the matched locations open Google from now on.
Change or remove the Google profiles
On Settings › Integrations, click Settings on Google Reviews to change which business each location uses, then click Save.
If you disconnect the integration, review links go back to the Softalon review form.
Show Google reviews on your booking site
Syncing your Google reviews into Softalon, so they appear on your booking site next to your other reviews, is in early access. Use Request early access in the Google Reviews Settings dialog to ask for it.
When sync is on:
- Google reviews show up on your Reviews page and arrive approved.
- Each one uses its Google star rating for the service, team member and location ratings.
- You can hide a synced review or link it to an appointment at its location. You can't edit, reply to or delete it in Softalon. Reply on Google instead.
- Reviews deleted on Google are removed from Softalon in a later sync.
If something is off
Review links still open the Softalon form
Check that the appointment's location is matched to a business in the integration's Settings. Locations without a match use the Softalon form. Also check that the integration is connected and healthy on Settings › Integrations.
I can't find my business in the search
Search for the exact name shown on Google Maps, and add the city if the name is common. The business must have a public Google listing.
