The Financial & Revenue Analytics report shows what you billed, what you collected and what you gave away in discounts and refunds. Open it from Reports in the sidebar.
How the report reads your data
- Date range. Pick a range in the top right. The default is the current month up to today. Days follow your salon's timezone. The refresh button next to it reloads every card.
- Revenue date. Invoices are placed in the range by their revenue date. For an appointment invoice this is the appointment's start time, and it moves if you reschedule. For a custom invoice it's the date you created it.
- Finalized vs draft. Revenue numbers only use finalized invoices. Draft invoices appear only as Expected Revenue and in the Invoice Breakdown.
- Refunds. Refunds are never subtracted from revenue. A refund is an operational cost, so it has its own number: Refunds Issued.
- Currencies. Invoices in another currency are converted to your salon currency at the exchange rate of the invoice's revenue date. When that happens, the amount shows "≈".
- Comparison. Each summary card compares the range with the same number of days right before it.
- Who sees what. Members with the User role see only their own invoices and payments. Administrators, Super Administrators and Owners see the whole salon.

Common questions
Softalon treats refunds as an operational cost, not as negative revenue. You can see them under Refunds Issued in the Outstanding and deductions card.
